Qi Gong & Meditation for Lunch

This group will meet in 3-week modules, lunchtime, on Fridays. We will practice different qi gong exercises and then have a meditation/guided visualization for the last 20 minutes. This is for anyone who wants to learn both moving meditation and seated, as well as seasoned practitioners who enjoy communing with others.
The first session, September 21, 28 and October 5, we will be learning the animal frolics qi gong..$50, Wear comfortable clothing, nothing binding at the waist.
QI GONG (also known as Chi Gong or Qi Gung) is a Chinese system of gentle exercises, breathing and meditation that increases our bodies supply of healing energy – Chi or Qi – enhancing overall vitality, as well as developing a clear and peaceful state of mind. Qigong is very beneficial for: Improving strength and flexibility; Altering the neurochemistry profile, moderating pain, depression and addictive cravings; Enhancing the efficiency of the immune system; Improve resistance to disease and infection; Reduce heart rate and blood pressure, facilitating relaxation and mental focus; Promotes deeper sleep, reduced anxiety and mental clarity.
